WANTED: User Experience / User Interface Designer
ID Media is a fast growing digital PR shop based in Sacramento looking for a go-to UX/UI designer to help us service existing clients and keep up with growing demand.
THE JOB:
- Turn wireframes and client requirements into intuitive, highly usable, gorgeous website designs
- Contract position
- Work from home/coffee shop/wherever, but must live in or near Sacramento
REQUIREMENTS:
- Vast majority of work experience should be in web/interactive design
- Ability to create stunning website and email designs à la Web Creme and Best Web Gallery
- Strong sense of the latest web design trends/aesthetics
- Comfortable hand coding HTML/CSS (and learning HTML5)
- Experience designing and building animated GIF banner ads
BONUS:
- Strong Flash/ActionScript skills; ability to design/build interactive banner ads
- Serious skills with the Illustrator pen tool
- Experience working with Javascript, MooTools JS library
- Familiarity with HTML email coding techniques (and the limitations of major email clients)
